Canceling a hold request

The library portal lets you monitor your hold requests for specific library items. You can cancel local (from your home library) or ILL (from a remote library) requests for one or more items.

To cancel a hold request

  1. Log in to your user account.

  2. Click the My Account tab.

  1. Click Hold Requests.

  2. Click View Local Holds  (for local hold requests) or View Remote Holds (for ILL hold requests).

The library portal displays the number of items ready to be picked up and a list of requested items that are not yet available. You can only cancel pending requests for items that are not yet available.

  1. Mark the box next to each requested title that you want to cancel.

  2. Click Cancel.

  3. When you are finished, log out of your user account.

 

Note:  These features may not be available, depending on how your library sets up the portal.
