If the library portal cannot find any items that match your search terms, you may be prompted to redo the search using alternate search terms. The library portal may suggest alternate search terms for you to use.
To use alternate search terms
After an unsuccessful search, do one of these options:
Click the link next to Did you mean.
Find the word that you want under Possible alternates, and enter or copy and paste it into a search field.
Mark the Thesaurus Expanded Search box.
Click Go.
The library portal returns a list of results based on the search criteria you entered. For information on how to understand your search results, see Interpreting your search results.
Note: This feature may not be available, depending on how your library sets up the portal. |
