You can change preferences, which determine the default settings for several features. You can change general preferences, such as your preferred default e-mail format, or how you want to be contacted when a requested item is available. You can also change some searching preferences, or set up the e-mail address used to alert you if you have requested e-mail alerts on certain authors, subjects, or series.
